Daughters of the King, St. Clare Chapter

St. Clare Chapter of Daughters of the King meets the first Monday, each Month, in the Parish Hall at 5:00 p.m. Our ministry at St. Francis is one of evangelism through prayer, study and service. We welcome all women and girls (at least 7 years old) to visit our meetings and we encourage your inquiries.

Meet our newly elected and installed officers for the next triennium: President - Debbie Abbott; Vice President - Theresa Galloway; Secretary/Treasurer - Margaret Wees. Other members are: Susie McCord, Carol Ozee, Barbara Mills, Claire Gibson and Kim Willoughby

We offer intercessory and healing prayers for others daily and at our meetings. Please contact Debbie Abbott at 817.925.6598 or other members of St. Clare Chapter for more information about Daughters of the King or to submit your confidential prayer requests.

The Mission of the Order

The mission of the Order is the extension of Christ's kingdom through Prayer, Service and Evangelism.

Vision Statement

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God's love throughout the world.

Who We Are

The Order of the Daughters of the King is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, or churches in communion with it, or churches who are in the Historic Episcopate.

Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. By reaffirmation of the promises made at Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
